(Granger, IA) — Woodward Granger hosted a triangular in boys wrestling with AC/GC and Griswold and the Hawks went 2-0 beating the Chargers 56-15 and the Tigers 72-3. AC/GC beat Griswold 65-6.
At 150 pounds, Cody Tuel of Woodward Granger upset Ryder Cline of AC/GC 12-10. Its only the 2nd loss of the season for Cline who falls to 32-2, his only other loss was to Jaxon Gordon of Riverside. Cline did go 1-1 on the night, winning his other match by fall. Tuel improved to 20-13.
At 215 pounds, Carter Richter of AC/GC beat Cash Frey of W-G SV 4-1 in sudden death — Richter is now 31-4 on the season.
Sladynn Jones had the only win for Griswold on the night, beating Reuben Harshbarger of Woodward Granger 13-12.
