(Avoca, IA) — AHSTW hosted a boys and girls triangular on Tuesday night.
The girls matched ATU against Logan Magnolia/Woodbine and Treynor. Lo-Ma went 2-0 with a 41-18 win over ATU and a 60-12 win over Treynor. ATU beat Treynor 30-18.
For ATU: Sophia Hazen went 2-0 with 2 falls, Trinity Bret went 2-0 with 2 falls.
For L-M/W: Caydi Schafer went 2-0 with 2 falls, Mary Bowman went 2-0 with a fall and tech fall. Kassidy Neligh went 2-0 with a fall and forfeit.
The boys triangular was between AHSTW, Treynor and Logan Magnolia. The Vikings had just three wrestlers compete so went 0-2 in the duals losing 78-6 to Logan Magnolia and 42-9 to Treynor.
However, Roman Scheffler went 2-0 for AHSTW including a SV 4-1 win over Maverrick Kalb of Treynor. Scheffler also won by fall in 34 seconds over Grady Brix of Lo-Ma.
The Panthers dominated the Cardinals 66-15.
