(Stillwater, OK) — Iowa St. women’s basketball continues to search for answers after the #19 ranked Cyclones got blown away at Oklahoma St. 86-58 in a Big 12 game on Sunday.
Stailee Heard had her first ever triple double to lead the Cowgirls to the one sided victory — 18 points, 17 rebounds and 10 assists. Oklahoma St. scored 30 points in the 2nd quarter and led 43-21 at the half. Iowa St. cut the 22 point deficit to 16 but OSU answered with a 15-0 run to put the hammer down on the Cyclones.
Audi Crooks and Jada Williams each had 15 points for Iowa St. (14-5, 2-5) and were the only players in double figures for ISU who shot 5-17 from three point land and just 39 percent from the field overall.
Heard led Oklahoma St. (16-4, 5-2) while Haleigh Timmer had 16 points, Micah Gray had 15, and Lena Girardi added 11 points off the bench.
