(Audubon, IA) — Audubon’s Boys Wrestling Head Coach Tyler Christensen believes his team is getting better as the season has progressed. The Wheelers finished in the middle of the pack in the Rollin Dyer Invite in Atlantic this past Saturday with Leyton Elmquist having the best individual finish in third place. On Tuesday, Audubon went 2-1 in the Lenox duals only losing to SE Warren/Melcher Dallas who has a deeper roster. Elmquist is 25-3, Jon Rasmussen is 24-6 and they have led the way. Christensen has been impressed with a freshman Karsen Juelsgaard who is 15-9
Lane Meyer is 15-13 on the season but has come a long way in a short amount of time says Christensen
Lane Elmquist is 15-7, Ethan Haubrich is 14-9, Karter Obermeier is 7-2, Mason Kasperbauer is 12-10. Christensen believes each of his wrestlers is better than their record and just wants them to stay the course with some big meets coming up
Audubon will compete in the Bill Kane Kuemper Duals in Carroll this Saturday.
