(Omaha) The National Weather Service in Omaha says snow showers are possible in northeast Nebraska and west-central Iowa on Friday. Despite the forecast for light snow accumulations, a strong northwesterly wind will gust up to 50 miles per hour, causing near-zero visibility at times and slippery roads.
Temperatures in the single digits to just below zero are expected over northern Iowa for morning lows this weekend, along with feels-like temperatures down to -10 to -20 degrees.
