(Lincoln, NE) — Nebraska continues its historic run in the men’s basketball season improving to 17-0 with a 90-55 win over Oregon in a Big Ten match up on Tuesday night.
On Monday, the Huskers moved to the 8th spot in the rankings which equals the best ever in school history. Then they went out and had their most lopsided win over a team in the conference since they joined in the 2011-12 season.
Pryce Sandfort led the way with 28 points including 7-11 on his three pointers. Braden Frager had 23 points also going 7-11 on his threes, including three in a row in the final 5 minutes. Combined, the Huskers were 17-36 on their threes. Sam Hoiberg added 11 points. Nebraska had just 6 turnovers compared to 16 for the Ducks.
Nebraska (17-0, 6-0) has won its first six conference games since the 1965-66 team in the old Big Eight.
Oregon (8-9, 1-5) was led by Wei Lin with 14 points and shot just 6-23 on their three pointers.
