(Stillwater, OK) — #3 Iowa St. took control late in the first half and won at Oklahoma St. 83-71 in a Big 12 game on Saturday.
Joshua Jefferson led the way with 19 points, Milan Momcilovic had 18 points, 16 in the first half. There were five ties and four lead changes in the first half before Dominick Nelson hit a three pointer to put the Cyclones ahead for good. Iowa St. led 42-40 at halftime and went on a 12-4 lead at the start of the 2nd half to lead 54-44.
All five starters were in double figures for Iowa St. (16-0, 3-0) — Killyan Toure had 12 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists; Tamin Lipsey had 11 points and Blake Buchanan finished with 10.
Parsa Fallah led Oklahoma St. (13-3, 1-2) with 21 points and Anthony Roy added 19.
