(Evanston, IL) — Ava Heiden scored 23 points to lead #14 Iowa past Northwestern 67-58 in a Big Ten women’s game on Monday night.
Heiden was 9-11 shooting on the night and made two foul shots, a layup, and a jumper at the buzzer that gave Iowa 50-44 lead at the end of the third quarter and the Hawkeyes never trailed the rest of the way.
Chit-Chat Wright had 12 points, seven assists, five rebounds and three steals for Iowa (13-2, 4-1). Hannah Steulke and Taylor McCabe each added 8 points.
Grace Sullivan led Northwestern (6-9, 0-4) with 28 points.
