(West Lafayette, IN) — Britt Prince’s 17 points which included four three pointers sparked #20 Nebraska to a 78-62 win over Purdue on Sunday.
The win broke a mini two game losing streak for the Huskers who had lost to #17 USC and #14 Iowa after winning 12 in a row to start the season.
Prince drained two threes and Logan Nissley added another to spark an 11-3 run in the first quarter to jump the Huskers to a 7 point lead and they led the rest of the way. Amiah Hargrove and Eliza Maupin each had 13 for Nebraska (13-2, 2-2) and Callin Hake finished with 11.
Purdue (8-7, 0-4) was led by Tara Daye with 12 points; Kiki Smith and Kendall Puryear each added 10.
