(Oakland, IA) — The Riverside Boys Wrestling team ended 2025 with a conference title in the Western Iowa Conference in Logan, winning with 242.5 points ahead of the 2nd place Panthers at 228. Head Coach Casey Conover says the Bulldogs won but did not wrestle at their best
Gaven Hackett was one of the four individual conference champs for Riverside, pinning Tysen Jenkins of Logan Magnolia at 3:46 in the 190 finals. Conover says he has shown tremendous growth
Drew Anderson dominated again at 138 with two tech falls and is 14-0 to start the season; Jaxon Gordon won at 165 and Max Shanno at 175. Conover is seeing a lot of great things from some of his experienced kids
Riverside will hit the mat for the first time in 2026 this Saturday at the Lewis Central Duals and Conover says the Bulldogs will be the smallest school in a tough meet.
