(Bedford, IA) — Bedford hosted wrestling action on Thursday night.
In a girls dual, Griswold and East Mills tied 12-12 but the Tigers won on the tiebreaker which was forfeits. Maggie Miles Crook of East Mills beat Brianna Dofner by fall at 1:16 and Adava Miles Crook of East Mills beat Abbi Henderson of Griswold by fall at 51 seconds in the only two matches.
Griswold also beat Southwest Iowa 24-18. There was only one match as Abbi Henderson for the Tigers beat Liz Covert by fall at 1:20. The rest were forfeits.
Southwest Iowa girls beat East Mills 18-12. In the only match of the dual, Maggie Miles Crook of SW Iowa beat Macy Kalhoun by fall at 5:35.
In the boys quad, Bedford went 3-0 beat Griswold 36-24, beating East Mills 48-12, and beating Southwest Iowa 42-36. There were only 2 matches in the Bedford-East Mills dual. At 144, Barrick Gladman of Bedford pinned James Cantwell of East Mills at 1:01. At 150, Landon Gibbs of East Mills pinned Trace Ewart of Bedford at 3:52.
Griswold lost to Southwest Iowa 42-30 but beat East Mills 36-12. Hudson Perkins went 3-0 with 3 falls. Quinton Wilson won his only match by fall. Jaden Jensen won his only match by fall.
Southwest Iowa went 2-1 beat East Mills 48-12. Nash Moreland was 2-0 with 2 falls. Flynt Bell and Garret Thompson each won their only match by fall.
