(Greenfield, IA) — On Monday, Keyin Steeve of Nodaway Valley announced his intention to wrestle at Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa. Steeve has won at least 30 wins each year for the Wolverines and is a three time state qualifier. His overall record is 105-33 coming into his senior season but has never gotten on the podium at state. Steeve chose BV over Morningside and says it was not easy to make a final decision
Steeve realizes the college wrestling season is longer and he will need to get stronger plus be mentally prepared for the grind
Steeve is glad he has finally made the decision and believes there is a weight lifted off his shoulders
This now frees Steeve up to concentrate on his senior season which started with an injury but is now back on the mat and working his way back into shape. Steeve has a career 1-6 record at state but believes this will be his year
Steeve says he plans on majoring in computer science at Buena Vista.
