(Des Moines) A High Wind Warning remains in effect for counties north of Interstate 80 in southwest and west central Iowa until 9:00 a.m. today. This includes Guthrie, Audubon, Shelby, Harrison, Monona, Crawford, Carroll, and Pottawattamie counties.
Northwest winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph are expected to continue.
A Wind Advisory is in effect for the southwest Iowa counties south of Interstate 80, with gusts of 20 to 30 miles per hour, and wind gusts of 50 miles per hour.
Northeast Iowa is under a Winter Weather Advisory.
