(Adel) A man from Cass County was arrested on December 3 in Adel, following allegations of threats made against a Dallas County man. The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office reports that 40-year-old Delaney Luke Pace of Atlantic was taken into custody by Adel Police and booked into the Dallas County Jail. He faces a charge of First-Degree Harassment, an aggravated misdemeanor.
Court documents reveal that the incident occurred on October 22, when Pace allegedly threatened to harm a man and his friend during a confrontation at a residence in Adel. The victim came forward on November 14, claiming that Pace threatened to “snap his and his friend’s necks” during the altercation. Two witnesses reportedly confirmed hearing the threats.
Pace is currently being held in the Dallas County Jail without bond.
