(Massena) – The Massena Chamber’s 7th Annual Christmas Lighted Parade is set to go tomorrow evening, December 5. A winter storm forced the Chamber to reschedule the event, with the parade lineup at 5:45 in front of the school, and the parade starting at 6:30 p.m.
According to Doug Venteicher, this year’s theme is “Holiday Movies.”
The Chamber is also raising funds for the community’s 4th of July celebration. Venteicher says the Cass County Cattlemen will be grilling steak sandwiches at the Massena Fire Station from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Cost is $15.00 per meal, and all proceeds will help support next year’s Independence Day festivities.
Santa will be greeting children at the Old School House after the parade until 8:00 p.m.
A fireworks display will follow immediately after the parade.
