(Des Moines) The National Weather Service in Des Moines is seeing the possibility of impactful wintry weather this weekend.
“This weekend we are looking for a chance for accumulating snow across the state Saturday, and Saturday night,” said Dylan Dodson with the National Weather Service in Des Moines. “Right now, we are favoring higher amounts across the northern portion of the state. However, we are still fine-tuning the location, and all of that.”
Some of the modules have moved the system further south towards eastern Nebraska and southwest Iowa. However, it is still uncertain how much snow will fall and where the heaviest snow will fall. The weather service says pto lan for snowy roads somewhere in the region. Stay up to date on the latest weather forecast.
