(Ames) Iowa State ended a longstanding drought on Sunday afternoon, beating Iowa in a wrestling dual for the first time since 2004. The Cyclones snapped the Hawkeyes’ 20-match winning streak with a 20–14 victory at Hilton Coliseum, where a large crowd braved winter weather to watch Iowa State claim six of the ten bouts.
