(Griswold, IA) — Head Coach Ryan Lockwood has some rebuilding to do this season — the Tigers lose 9 players off of last year’s 8-14 team including all 5 starters. The bench is thin this season — Lockwood says he only has 9 players on the roster and three of them are freshman. Two Seniors are out for basketball that did not play last year — Wyatt Silk and Nollan Smith will be immediate starters this season. Lockwood says Junior Walker Gary is improved this year and Sophomores Dain Laverty and Colton Frieze will have huge roles this season
Freshmen Hayden Atterburn and Grant Christensen will get the chance to play and Sophomore Brayden Beck is new to the sport. Despite the low numbers, Lockwood wants to play fast and shoot a lot
