(Greenfield, IA) — Nodaway Valley Boys Basketball could be on the upswing this season — there has been only 7 wins in the last two seasons but this year’s squad has good numbers and reason for optimism.
Sophomore Ty Rardin (8.7 ppg) led the team in scoring last season and shot 34 percent from 3 point land. He feels his game is getting better every day
Sophomore Titan Foster (4.5 ppg) has worked hard on his game and believes the Wolverines have something to prove
Another sophomore is Jack Berg (3.0 ppg) who will be in the rotation. Senior Jaxson Stringer says that this team has put in some time to improve and he has worked hard on his inside game
Senior Titus Hamer (3.2 ppg) considers defense his strength
Seniors Dyllan Shannon and Parker Schneider will also be contributors. Nodaway Valley opens the season on Tuesday, December 2nd against Mt. Ayr, coverage on KSOM.
