(Red Oak) Montgomery County Engineer Karen Albert reported to the supervisors on Tuesday about a Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship project. Albert says the project focuses on reducing sediment and improving water quality.
Albert noted that the program will fund construction of the project, and that the county would take over maintenance of the on-road structure. Albert admitted the program is in the preliminary stage.
In other business, Albert reported the letting on the Railroad bridge on L and Q Avenue was held last week. She says five contractors bid on the project. Albert says the goal is to have a recommendation to the board late next week.
