(Neola, IA) — Tri Center loses a lot off of last year’s 7-15 season. The Trojans lose their top two leading scorers Quincey Schneckloth (9.7 ppg, 8.2 rbg, 3.3 assists/game) and Hayden Thomas (10.5 ppg) plus four other players who started or played did not come out for the team. Head Coach Derek Sonderland is down to nine players on his roster and will turn to Senior Macie Schneckloth (4.4 ppg, 4.3 rbg) to be the leader
One of those players that Sonderland will turn to this season is Junior Jozie Payne who only averaged 1.8 points per game last season
Danica Hoden is another senior who will get more playing time. Junior Megan Carlson has some experience. The rest of the team will be young says Sonderland
Tri Center will open its season this coming Tuesday hosting Essex.
