(Atlantic, IA) — Treynor smothered Atlantic’s inside game and rolled past the Trojans in the season opener 51-31 on Friday night.
Every time Atlantic threw the ball inside, the Cardinals defense collapsed and there was little room to move. Katrina Williams was held scoreless in the game and Brynn Lamp was held to just 2 points.

Atlantic struggled with their shooting throughout but Makenna Schroeder hit a three with about a minute left in the first half — Treynor answered right back as Delaney Mauer hit a three and after a quick Trojan turnover, Mauer got a lay up. After the Trojans had cut the lead to 13 the lead went to 18 at the half.
