(Guthrie Center, IA) — The Guthrie County Supervisors heard the annual report from Conservation Director Brad Halterman at Tuesday’s meeting.
Halterman told the supervisors about some of the highlights of the past year including securing a little over 2 million dollars in grant money for the Raccoon River Trail. There were other projects as well
Halterman says there was new signage added and upgrades to the main building at the historical village. However, the county missed out on some other grant money
Halterman says they are still waiting to hear from some other grants.
The Guthrie County Supervisors also heard a facilities report from Brandon Thompson, they approved Resolution 26-12 which is the certification and canvass of the 2025 election results and they appropriated the remainder 50 percent of the 2025-26 budget.
The Supervisors also went into closed session to discuss current litigation.
