(Ames) The Iowa Cattlemen’s Association will host the 2025 Iowa Cattle Industry Convention on December 16 at the Meadows Event Center in Altoona.
The annual event brings together cattle producers and industry supporters for a full day of networking and education. This year’s convention features more than nine breakout sessions and a keynote Industry Situation Update and Outlook from Kevin Good of CattleFax, who will share insights on global beef markets.
A new “Classrooms to Cattle” track will offer juniors, seniors, and college students a free opportunity to learn about careers in the cattle industry, supported by the Iowa Cattlemen’s Foundation and Farm Credit Services.
The convention also includes a nearly sold-out tradeshow with over 30 exhibitors, a beef pairing experience, social events, and the return of the Iowa Cattlemen’s Foundation Auction, followed by live entertainment from Neil Hewitt.
ICA will hold its Annual Meeting during the event to vote on policy recommendations from September’s Policy Summit.
All members and those considering membership are encouraged to attend.
Registration details are available on the Iowa Cattlemen’s Association website.
