(Pottawattamie Co) The Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors approved a resolution increasing the depository limit for Conservation from $200,000 to $1,000,000. The total maximum deposit under this resolution is $221,700,000.

The Supervisors also approved an amendment to the current county budget for Fiscal Year 2025/26.
Meanwhile, David Bayer, Chief Information Officer, and Anthony McCartney, IT Supervisor and Security Officer, recognized the winners of the 2025 Cybersecurity Awareness Month Challenge. They explained that they issued a challenge during Cybersecurity Awareness Month, encouraging participants to complete a series of steps to learn key cybersecurity terms. The top ten participants who completed the challenge were each presented with a tumbler.
