Scott Belt Resigns as Chair of the Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors

(Pottawattamie Co.) Pottawattamie County Supervisor Scott Belt has resigned as Chairman of the Board.

Pottawattamie County announced that a special meeting planned for Monday to name a new Chairman and Pro-Tem Chair for the remainder of 2025 has been cancelled due to Scott Belt resigning as Board Chairperson, effective at midnight (Monday, November 10). No further details were provided.

The Supervisors will hold their regular meeting on Wednesday, November 12 at 10 AM due to the courthouse being closed on Tuesday in observance of Veterans Day.
