(Elk Horn, IA) — Exira EHK had a solid volleyball season in 2025 — finishing 13-13 and 2nd place in the Rolling Valley Conference. The Spartans had some question marks coming into the season but Zoey Rasmussen helped answer them when she took over the setter position according to Head Coach Derek Reischauer
The only senior on the team was Jaelynn Petersen and she put up some All State numbers — 323 kills, 179 digs, 45 blocks and 34 aces — and she finishes her career with over 800 kills
Exira EHK has a lot coming back led by Taryn Petersen with 243 kills, 20 blocks, 228 digs and 50 aces. Reischauer says she will need somebody else to produce offensively
Other starters back next year include Freshman Brooklyn Brabham, Sophomore Brooklyn Snider, Sophomore Bryli Petersen, and Rasmussen.
