(Adair Co) The Adair County Board of Supervisors approved an ISAC funding request to support the appellate review involving Shelby and Story counties.
County Auditor Mandy Berg explained that the two counties are seeking further appellate review by the U.S. Supreme Court of an 8th Circuit panel decision that invalidated their zoning ordinances regulating hazardous liquid pipelines.
The supervisors approved providing $500.
In other action, the Supervisors approved a two-year wage increase for Auditor Clerk Ruthie Smith, agreed to move forward with seeking requests for proposals for audit services, and tabled action on the ISAC Unemployment Pool Termination.
