(Creston) The Creston Police Department arrested a Creston, Iowa, woman on Monday.
According to the report, 53-year-old Tammy Lynn Case was arrested at the intersection of Mills and Pine Streets on an outstanding warrant for the original charges of 1st-degree theft against an individual over $10,000 and unauthorized use of a credit card over $10,000.
Officers transported Case to the Union County Jail for processing, then transferred and held her at the Adams County Jail on a $35,000 cash or surety bond.
In a separate case, Creston Police arrested Carlos Ivan Cortez, 29, of Creston in the 1700 Block of W. Townline Street. Cortez was charged with 1st degree harassment. He was taken to the Union County Jail and held without bond until seen by a judge.
