(Atlantic) The KS 95.7 Armour Insurance Trojan Athletes of the Week are the 14 players selected to the First or Second Team of the Class 3A All-District #6 teams, along with three players earning Honorable Mention recognition.
Atlantic placed two of the first three running backs on the list, including Ethan McNeal and Gavin McLaren, and two offensive linemen, Donovan Hedrington and Jack Muller. Atlantic Head Coach Joe Brummer talks about the all-district selections.
Six players were named to the first team defense. The others named to the first team were Brock Goodrich, Jake Wailes, Shelton Mualia, Sawyer Tarrell, and Colin Rudy.
Shelton Mualia and Sawyer Tarrell were named to the First Team Defensive Secondary. Zander Killion was named the first-team punter.
Offensive lineman Travin Thomas and Kael Cameron were named to the second team. Grant Petty and Carter Hadley were named to the Second Team Defense.
Three players were named honorable mention: Offensive Lineman Owen Miller, Tight End Roland Hinman, and Defensive Back Hunter Nelson.
The Trojans capped off the season with a (6–4) record—matching last year’s mark—and secured their first postseason appearance since 2020.
