(Ames, IA) — It looks like the Iowa State University men’s cross country team is heading into the Big 12 Championship without a full squad. A spokesperson told KCCI yesterday a few members were suspended because of a violation of team rules, but didn’t go into any specifics. The Cyclones’ men’s team is ranked number one in the country in the Coaches Association Poll, and the conference championship takes place Friday. The Iowa State women’s team is ranked sixth nationally.
