(Adair-Casey) ACGC school officials said Friday morning the district and local law enforcement were made aware of a digital voicemail bomb threat directed at the Adair-Casey campus.
The district immediately began working with the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Department to investigate and determined, in cooperation with the Iowa School Safety Bureau and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, that the threat was not credible. Officials said similar threats have been made to other schools across Iowa and the nation.
Based on the information received, the district said there is no legitimacy to the threat, and all ACGC schools are operating on a normal schedule today.
As a precaution, additional supervision and safety measures have been implemented across all campuses. School officials emphasized that the safety of students and staff remains their top priority and said they will continue to share updates if new information becomes available.
