(Ames) — Atlantic senior Katrina Williams reached her season-long goal on Wednesday, qualifying for the State Cross Country Meet in Fort Dodge. Williams earned her spot with a 16th-place overall finish and a personal-best time of 19:52.11.
Joining her at State will be Atlantic sophomore Mason Betts, who in his first year running cross country, secured an 11th-place finish with a personal-best time of 16:19.88.

Atlantic’s Team Results
The Atlantic girls placed sixth out of 12 teams, scoring 160 points. Williams led the team with a 15th-place team finish (16th overall).
