(Atlantic) Ethan McNeal, Zander Killion, and Jack Muller are KS 95.7’s Armour Insurance Trojan Athletes of the week. Atlantic came from behind to defeat Harlan 35-30 in a Class 3A District #6 football game on Friday night.
Ethan McNeal returned the kickoff 85 yards with 33 seconds left to play to secure the win. McNeal also carried the ball 22 times for 139 yards. McNeal talks about returning the kick for the winning score.
Jack Muller rarely comes off the field. The senior plays defensive end and offensive line. Muller had the sack at the end of the Harlan game to seal the deal. Muller talks about the Trojans’ come-from-behind victory after falling behind 21-7.
Zander Killion has been spending some time at running back, punts, and kicks, and has solidified a spot as a wide receiver. The sophomore caught a key pass in the win on Friday night. Zayden Parker threaded the needle to Killion for a 27-yard pass play to tie the game early in the fourth quarter.
Atlantic will face Carroll this Friday night for the District Title. The broadcast will be on KS 95.7 and live-streamed on westerniowatoday.com.
