(Undated) – More than half of workers are stressed about finances, leaving some to look to their employer for financial guidance.
According to PNC’s 2025 Financial Wellness in the Workplace Report, 68-percent of workers are stressed about their finances and 67-percent are living paycheck to paycheck. Findings come as separate data compiled by Bank of America for its 15th annual Workplace Benefits Report found the amount of workers who are turning to their employer to get guidance on long-term financial planning has doubled from 13-percent in 2023 to 26-percent in 2025.
Employees appear to be seeking financial wellness resources including retirement education and planning, learning how to generate income in retirement, and developing good financial skills and habits.
