(Anita, IA) — The CAM football team has been dealing with injuries all season long but their Senior leader on offense and defense is the latest to go down. Collin Bower left last Friday’s game against Exira EHK in the first quarter and did not return with a leg injury — the Cougars went on to lose 56-52. Head Coach Nick Kauffman had to so some shuffling earlier this season when Offensive Lineman Drew Barber suffered a season ending injury and now he will have to do some more shuffling
Bower leads CAM in rushing with 357 yards and 10 TD and is 2nd in receiving with 15 catches for 325 yards and 5 TD. On defense, Bower has 31.5 tackles with 6 TFLs. Kauffman says some players will move around on the defensive side as well
Kauffman says Bower still has to be evaluated by the doctor on the extent of his injury but he is planning on going without him for this week’s game at Griswold.
