(Greenfield) Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield reports this morning that services are pending for 33-year-old Brandon McVay, of Greenfield. Funeral Home Officials say McVay passed away on Tuesday from a construction accident at the Van Meter School District’s new building construction zone.
According to Van Meter Police, Brandon McVay fell from a roof, which was an estimated 30-foot drop. A School Resource Officer provided medical aid to McVay, but Brandon was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration has been notified.
