(Avoca) The City of Avoca announces that City Administrator, Tyler Trout, will be leaving his role later this Fall to assume the position of City Administrator in Charles City, Iowa.
Trout has served the Avoca community since July 2023. During his tenure, Trout has overseen a number of transformative initiatives.
Trout’s last day with the City of Avoca will be November 19, 2025.
The City Council will begin the transition process immediately, which may include the appointment of an interim city administrator while a search is conducted for a permanent replacement.
