(Creston) Creston Police reports two arrests on Tuesday.
*Police arrested 31-year-old Austin Allan Jones, of Creston, at 403 W. Townline. Jones was charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon and Possession of a Controlled Substance, Marijuana, 1st Offense. Jones was taken to Union County Jail. Bail is set at $ 3,000 cash or surety.
*Creston Police arrested 56-year-old Danny Ray Bird Jr., of New Market, Iowa, at 302 N. Pine Street. Bird was charged with Violation of No Contact/Protective Order. Bird was taken to Union County Jail, where he posted the $300 bond and was released.
