(Atlantic) The Atlantic Chamber Ambassadors were hosted by Bloom Behavioral Health LLC on Thursday, September 25th, 2025, to celebrate the opening of the new practice located in Downtown Atlantic. The Ambassadors welcomed the business as a new Chamber member and learned more about the services Bloom provides to the community.
Bloom Behavioral Health, founded by Jenny Jessen, LISW NPT-C, was created with the mission of providing compassionate and comprehensive mental health care. With a strong belief in meeting clients where they are, Bloom emphasizes creating a safe, supportive environment where every person feels valued, respected, and understood.
The practice offers a wide range of services including individual therapy, family and couples counseling, and behavioral support for children and adolescents. Bloom Behavioral Health specializes in helping clients navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and behavioral concerns. Bloom Behavioral Health is committed to evidence-based practices while tailoring care to meet the unique needs of each client.
“I have a real love for adolescent behavioral health,” said owner Jenny Jessen. “I enjoy having conversations with young adults because they often look at the world differently. Many times, they see things in black and white, and I love challenging that mindset to help them see things from a new perspective.”
