(Creston) One person suffered minor injuries in a single-vehicle accident in Union County.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened late Wednesday afternoon on Iris Avenue. Authorities identified the injured driver as 69-year-old John Allen Hoepker, of Creston.
According to the report, Hoepker was driving a southbound Chevy Silverado K2500 pickup near 1803 Iris Avenue, and drove into the west ditch, went over a second driveway, struck a fencepost, entered the road, and ended up in the east ditch.
Ground ambulance transported Hoepker to the Greater Regional Hospital in Creston.
