(Red Oak) Montgomery County Auditor Jill Ozuna reported on Tuesday about the upcoming City and School Election scheduled for November 4.
Ozuna noted that the City of Red Oak has a mayoral race with two candidates competing for the seat.
In the City of Stanton, a city council race is underway with four candidates vying for three at-large seats.
Additionally, the Grant City Council has five available seats, but only three candidates have filed to run, leaving two seats unfilled.
Meanwhile, the City of Coburg has not had anyone file for the open mayoral seat or the two city council positions.
As of Tuesday morning, Montgomery County has 6,515 registered voters. This includes 1,022 registered Democrats, 2,605 registered Republicans, 1,830 unaffiliated voters, and 57 voters registered with other parties.
Ozuna also mentioned that absentee voting will begin on October 15.
