(Atlantic, IA) — The Atlantic girls tennis season ended on Wednesday as Clarinda advanced to the Regional finals with a 5-0 win over the Trojans. At #1 singles, Jacobi Harter battled Taylin Walter who is a good candidate to win a state title in individual competition but succumbed 6-2, 6-3. At #2 singles, Lily Willrich lost the first set 6-0 but fought hard in the 2nd set before falling 6-4. Atlantic ends their dual record at 5-5.
Clarinda will face Shenandoah in the Regional finals on Saturday — the Fillies beat St. Albert 5-0 on Wednesday.
