(Pottawattamie Co) The Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors signed a proclamation celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Southwest Iowa Planning Council.
Board Chair Scott Belt read the proclamation, which states; Southwest Iowa Planning Council (SWIPCO) was established in 1975 to provide regional planning, technical assistance, and community development services to the counties and communities of southwest Iowa.
The proclamation concluded with the Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors recognizing and honoring the Southwest Iowa Planning Council on the occasion of its 50th Anniversary and expresses sincere appreciation for its invaluable contributions to the people and communities of southwest Iowa.
