(Des Moines) Officials have ordered immediate investigations into employees at all three of Iowa’s state universities related to alleged comments about Charlie Kirk. The Iowa Board of Regents says university officials must investigate their employees regarding any alleged insensitive statements about the political activist’s assassination. Anyone accused of such behavior must be put on administrative leave and removed from the classroom. The Board of Regents stated that employees could be fired if the university’s president believes the action is appropriate. All three of Iowa’s public universities have two weeks to complete their respective investigations.
