(Oakland, IA) — Riverside set the tone on Thursday night scoring the game’s first 5 points, three of them on aces and the Bulldogs rolled past Audubon in three sets in a Western Iowa Conference match-up.
Riverside won 25-11, 25-9, 25-13. Lilli Reed got three aces in the first five points and the Bulldogs built a 12-3 lead. Audubon was held to just two service points in the first set.
In set 2, Riverside again started strong leading 12-2 and 21-5 before closing it out.
The Wheelers came out with more fire in the third set and led 7-6 when Harlow Miller got three service points. However, Riverside 7 of the next 8 points to lead 13-8 and never looked back from there.
