(Guthrie Center, IA) — Guthrie County Conservation Director Brad Halterman reports a successful and steady camping season this summer at Springdespite some warm weather during a couple of the weekends. Halterman does say that there are seeing a trend of fewer campers from out of town
Halterman also warns that even though there is still some good camping weather left in the season, they are still targeting October 15 as the date when they will shut off the water and close the restrooms
Halterman also says they will close the bottom campground on October 31.
