Red Oak Man Arrested in Connection with Shopping Cart Fire

(Red Oak) Red Oak Police arrested a Montgomery County Man in connection with a shopping cart fire.

Police arrested 22-year-old Michael Daniel Hohl of Red Oak on Monday on a charge of 5th-degree criminal mischief. The arrest stems from a shopping cart owned by Hy-Vee that was found on fire in the 900 block of North 4th Street.

Officers transported Hohl to the Montgomery County Jail and held him on a $300 bond.
