(Adair Co.) The Adair County Board of Supervisors on Wednesday approved an Engineer sharing agreement with Adams County.
Engineer Nick Kauffman presented the board with the draft 28E agreement. Supervisors Jodie Hoadley said she did not agree with the 50/50 sharing, saying she believes it should be 60/40.

In the end, the Supervisors voted three to two to approve the 50/50 temporary sharing agreement with Adams County starting November 3rd. Jerry Walker, Matt Wedemeyer, and Nathan Baier voted Aye. Jodie Hoadley and Michael Christoffersen voted Nay.
In other action, the Supervisors approved a one-dollar wage increases for a paralegal and legal assistant in the County Attorney’s Office and a 71-cent per hour pay increase for the Elections Deputy. The Supervisors approved a tax abatement for New Life Baptist Church and they approved a contract with Gus Construction for the N35 Walnut Culvert project at $228,809.06.
