(Atlantic) Atlantic linebacker Jake Wailes, a first-team all-district selection last year, is picking up where he left off. Wailes recorded 10 tackles last Friday night against Denison-Schleswig. Within those ten tackles, Wailes had three tackles for loss and two sacks in the 30-8 win over the Monarchs.

The Trojans jumped out to a 10-0 lead. Wailes says the entire team played with a lot of enthusiasm.
The Trojans host Des Moines Christian this Friday. The Lions are 2-0 with wins over Van Meter and Roland-Story.
Last Friday night, the Trojans’ defense held the Monarchs to 96 yards passing and 67 yards rushing.
This Friday’s game at Trojan Bowl kicks off at 7:00 p.m.
